Ok time for day 2 of 3! Today was the cruise to The Twelve Apostles via The Great Ocean Road. The corners, the camber and the spectacular views make it the best driving road I’ve ever driven. I wish I had my car there! The Tarago was still super fun.
Walking down Flinders Lane.
Time for breakfast at Centre Place.
Very cool lane.
Happy Richie & Jamie!
It was pouring here!
A pit stop on the GOR (right hand side view).
Left hand side view.
Another pit stop at Apollo Bay. Almost there!
Just finished eating seafood for lunch.
The Tarago’s number plates. Aww sh*t. Christina was driving quite well through the twisties!
Before I continue, we played a game where we had to make up a story using all the letters from the alphabet from A to Z. This is how it went:
Andy believes carrying Dominoes enriches flavour greatly. Henry is jumping kookily like mongoose never open pantries. Quietly robots speed together under violet werewolves. Xylophones yodel zebras.
We made it!
Beautiful. Wish we were on beach level though.
The other 2 apostles.
It was time to head back to Melbourne to meet up with a few guys from ClubITR. Christina started the driving (she drove a lot), then Dianne (she did a wheelspin during changeover) and then it was my turn from the highway all the way back to town.
We quickly washed our faces, walked over to Transport Bar and met up with mugsee, Temp, vincent (from Brisbane) and Shiri. We were a little late, so we had a quick drink and because we had to rush, we didn’t get to eat. Temp suggested a Japanese Place on Bourke St, review will eventually be up BeTheFoodie.
B-boys on the way to dinner.
Bourke St. The night was still young and we asked Shiri to take us to a bar that shows off Melbourne.
On the way up to the Rooftop Bar. So many stairs.
The entrance area.
What a great place to chill.
The Rooftop Cinema.
The bar. Thanks for taking us Shiri. We also met up with air23box here and he offered us a ride in his Mugen DC5R from the bar back to the apartment. Thanks!
