NSX Australia Part 4

I woke up to the sounds of the birds chirping outside the cabin. I was ready for another day of driving and it was going to be a big one as we were finally heading into Hobart.

I’m pretty sure I used quite a bit of tyre going through the twisties of Tasmania.

As I didn’t have to rush so much, I managed to take a few photos of everyone’s preparation before we headed out.

Once all our cars were packed, it was time to head into the Strahan Targa section!

This Targa section was fun! We drove past Queenstown and started to climb through what looked like a moonscape.

As I was last in the group, I used this opportunity to stop on the side of the road and take a few photos of how beautiful Tasmania is.

After catching up with the rest of the group, our next stop was The Wall in the Wilderness exhibition.

The exhibition was quite amazing. No cameras allowed of course. Next stop was lunch. I was hungry as usual so I was very keen to get there as soon as possible.
NSX Australia
I love road trips.
NSX Australia
We stopped at Tarraleah for a sandwich buffet and of course, I kept coming back to the food.

This was the perfect time for Uehara-san to sign our cars. I asked him to sign my folder and he kindly did!

After all these days of driving the all new CR-V, my request of having a ride in an NSX was granted.

Dinner that night was at our own arrangement. Coincidentally, it was the same choice as our Japanese guests.

After we finished our food, we paid the bill and joined the other table that was seated on the other side of the restaurant. Uehara-san sat opposite me and so I asked him, “What do you do these days in Japan?”, “What do you think of the new NSX?” and “What was it like working with Ayrton Senna? How did he help with the NSX?” Now that was a conversation I’ll never forget.
